• Professional Data: Veterinary nursing qualifications, institution of study, year of graduation, employment history, and current employer details.
• Financial Data: Bank details or mobile money (MoMo) information for the payment of membership dues, registration fees, or event bookings.
• Sensitive Data: In limited cases, we may collect "Special Categories of Personal Data" (as defined under Section 96 of Act 843), such as health information (for disability support) or criminal record checks (for professional fitness-to-practice assessments), only with your explicit consent.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We process your information for the following purposes:
• Membership Administration: Processing applications, maintaining the GRVNA register, and issuing membership certificates.
• Regulatory Compliance: Verifying credentials with the Veterinary Council of Ghana or other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Professional Development: Informing you about Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs, workshops, and conferences.
• Communication: Sending newsletters, updates on the veterinary profession in Ghana, and notices of General Meetings.
