Are you a veterinary nurse in Ghana?

The Registered Veterinary Nurses Association of Ghana is a secure space reserved exclusively for you.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Full Membership

You are eligible for full registration if you meet any of the following:

  • Qualified Professionals: You hold a degree or recognized qualification in Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Science, or a related field approved by the GRVNA Board.

  • Existing License Holders: If you were already licensed as a Veterinary Nurse by the Veterinary Council of Ghana before the GRVNA Constitution was established.

2. Student Membership

This category is open to individuals currently training for a career in the field. You can apply if you are:

  • A member of the Veterinary Nursing Student Association.

  • Enrolled in an approved Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Science program.

3. Payment of Prescribed Fees

  • An applicant may be required to pay the prescribed fees before completing the registration process

  • membership shall be subject to renewal on such terms as is prescribed by executive board or any statutory body in accordance to the laws of Ghana.

Required Documents

​When submitting your application, you must provide the following:

  • Proof of Identity (One of the following):

    • Ghana Card

    • Passport

    • Voters ID Card

    • Birth Certificate

  • Educational Proof:

    • BSc Veterinary Nursing Degree Certificate OR

    • BSc Veterinary Science Degree Certificate

    • (Students must provide proof of current enrollment)

  • Recent Photo:

    • One (1) Passport-size photograph.

  • Other:

    • Any other relevant professional documents (optional).
